New Music: TicTic Boom!- These Motions

There’s is nothing like getting an email from one of your favorite bands with a link to their new music. So you can imagine the kind of happy dance I put on for my dog when I saw the Tic Tic Boom! email for their new song ‘These Motions’.

Mark your calendars –> new EP titled It’s the Heart That’s a Fool available October 8th! YAH!!

New Queen Caveat music….?

With all the bands I enjoy its hard to post about EACH one but the band Queen Caveat has been on my radar since a friend of mine took me to a show last year. So to my delight they posted a snippet of a new song and I HAD to post about it.

Enjoy!

I love strong female lead singer and Lauren Little fits the bill! Good god her voice is amazing!….seriously….need to watch that video again.

Review: Sage + The Saints – I Will Lie EP

sagecoverlogo-reverbnation

I Will Lie now available on iTunes!

Sage and the Saint’s new EP ‘I Will Lie’, is a well written homage to country music.

When I first listened to the EP the song ‘Love and Pain’ made me burst out in tears. Not the watery or welled up eyes but big fat tears that cause me to ugly cry right in the middle of my cubicle. Between the piano intro and Sage’s voice which is filled with so much emotion you have no choice to feel….something.

Lyrically it’s completely relatable and when I should have been paying attention to the EP, I began to think about my personal life. I love songs that make me think and drive me to make changes. If this was Sage’s goal then mission accomplished.

Her song writing has grown so much since her last EP ‘Learning to Walk’ (FYI Ashtray is still my favorite song!). When I first heard the song ‘Take me to the South’ I felt it was nice bar song and didn’t think too much about it. But it’s the song that I find myself humming the most. It’s the type of song that’ll pop in your head on a regular basis but not in that irritating way. It’s like finding a twenty dollar bill in your wallet – just makes you happy.

“Take me to the south where the things move slow, we can talk about life, the city been mean and I’m tired of these street….”

Now I know why she left LA for the Nashville!

To say I enjoyed this EP would be an understatement.

Check out her music—-> Sage

Video: Wires in the Walls “In the Rain”

Leap, Timber, Leap

Wires In the Walls released their new video ‘In the Rain’. The cool part is the guys filmed, edited and added special effects all on their own. The pooled their talents together and created this cool video.

Enjoy.

Video: Sage + The Saints – Would I Run

Today, Sage and The Saints released her new video ‘Would I Run’ in support of her upcoming EP release ‘I Will Lie’ on August 22nd. Would I Run captures the softer side of the infamous chameleon known as Sage. After leaving LA a few years ago Sage followed her heart to the country music mecca, Nashville. Sage’s embraced all the Nashville has to offer and her new music will reflect just that. I look forward to her new EP!

Stay tune for more Sage news…..

Sam Bradley – Late Night London Sessions

Sam Bradley has been going non-stop since the released of his EP ‘Not Your Kind’ in May with shows around the London and Manchester area and taking time to record Late Night London Sessions. It’s a series of videos shot in black and white with Sam singing songs from his EP on the deserted streets of London.

The second video from the Late Night Sessions happens to be my FAVORITE song on the EP called ‘Only Human’. I can listen to this song on repeat all day long….oh wait I HAVE played this song on repeat. Sam’s talent always blows me away, just when I think I got him figured out his goes and boggles my mind.

I hope we see more footage from the Late Night London Sessions because they make me appreciate and love the songs even more.

And those of you in the London area – GO SEE SAM LIVE!!

Now I must put Only Human on repeat.

Ciao.
